Brief Description: Installing the Surfaces to the Main Shaft
Finished up the Jig today for the elevator alignment. Pulled the plane out of the workshop again, installed wings and elevator, brought the stick into the zero position, clamped the jig down with clamps and measured again the distances from elevator tip to wing tip left and right. After just a bit of adjustments to correct a distance error of about 1.5 cm we moved elevator jig L/H 1mm back and found ok thereafter. Then we measured the distances from elevator tip to the fire wall and at the end all matched more or less within 1mm!
Now I can drill the holes for the M4 bolts at the right position.
